Hey guys! I want you to start eating a RAINBOW every day.๐ŸŒˆ Nature cleverly provides us with the whole spectrum of colours in our foods, to ensure we eat all the different types of nutrients that will nourish + heal our bodies.๐Ÿ’–

What are the food colour groups?

Fruits + vegetables fall into 5 different colour categories. Each colour carries its own set of unique phytochemicals, which help combat disease. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ These phytochemicals are what give fruits + vegetables their vibrant colours. A typical serving of fruit or vegetables is only half a cup, but we need to eat about 9-13 portions of whole plant foods each day to help prevent chronic disease!โ—๐ŸŒฑ Here are some examples of food you can consume to get the benefits of each colour.
